The staff were really nice, assisting with reservations . The breakfast offered a fantastic variety, including local cheeses and fresh pastries, setting a positive tone for the day.

Pillows in the room were uncomfortable.

The pool area was very nice and well positioned as the sun shines on it all day. It is just a 15 minute walk downhill to the main area of the town.

Unfortunately, the room temperature could not be adjusted. We had to keep the window open to cool down, not ideal. The service at the restaurant was disappointing. Our meals were served together instead of in courses, and some dishes arrived cold.

Comfy hotel, nice installations with good green area. There is plenty of place for parking cars. Personal were polite and friendly.

For a 4 * hotel the breakfast should be better. My 3 persons room was in fact a 2 persons room with an extra bed, I think the reason for that was to place friends in a nearby room and it's partial understood but not completely knowing that the price was unchanged. Facilities near the outside pool were too short in number with lack of shadowed area.

The food is good and plentifyful (we were on walking trip in the hill above the Duoro). Rooms are good size, everything works and the spa swimming pool is good.

Like most hotels in Portugal, the road to the hotel is not well signed from the centre of Lamego (and many Portugese roads do not have a name or name plate). You should plan to arrive when you can ask the locals for direction (we arrived after mid-night) or to ring the hotel when (or before) you get lost, once you get to the Cathedral. (Hotel staff are very helpful and speak good English)

The outdoor swimming pool was heated and perfect. The view from the bar area was amazing, with the mountains in sight. Jessica at the front desk was super helpful with suggestions on where to go and dine. Breakfast had a great selection, including delicious pastries and options for everyone.

Parking was a bit tricky in the area.

The hotel staff sorted out my booking problem in a friendly and efficient manner.

We had a fabulous stay, the hotel was delightful, clean, with amazing location the on tap wine bar that looked self-serve had to be operate by the staff so they could be sure you paid for it. Location: the venue was right by the Douro Valley, the centre of Lamego, and restaurants and bars.

The outdoor garden spaces offer serene green views, and the restaurant serves delicious breakfast options with local products.

Excellent staff. Excellent view to the backside. Very good swimming- pool inside and outside. I bought a very interesting and varied Eastern package.

The bed should be smoother.

The staff were extremely helpful and the concierge service and wake up service were free of charge. Really enjoyed the way our double room with beautiful view across the valley was.

I almost thought this hotel was nice, until the spa receptionist rudely took my tea away, as if i was offending their precious hotel. The whole place lacked ambience too, no music anywhere and the remote location. I woudl ve been content with a room upgrade, but alas, no special treatment here.

Beautiful location in the Duoro. Comfortable well-appointed hotel on a hill overlooking the hills and vineyards of the Duoro. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with an extensive selection of wines. The view from the dining room and some guest rooms is very special.
